I stamped the large Mellow Melon image in Versafine Onyx Black. The Melon is Melon Mambo (of course), the eaten section is alcohol marker and then glitter glue. The rind is Garden Green. Seeds are Chocolate Chip with some white gel pen accents and Crystal Effects. The ground is sponged Mint Melody and Mellow Moss. The skin of the mice is Blush Blossom with Blushing Bride cheek and ear highlights, and blending pen with some Crisp Cantaloupe. Two mice are done in Sahara Sand with darker Going Gray accents and Blended with a blending pen in Bordering Blue to give just a hint of bluish gray. Other two mice are done in Creamy Caramel and a Chestnut alcohol marker (however I think Basic Brown and a blender pen would have worked as well). I cut the image as close as possible and then matted it with just a hint of black showing around the edges. Using the bright melon paper I added a coordinating DP and put green gems in the middle of the two pink flowers. Added green stitched ribbon and green brads. Hand wrote sentiment and sponged Mint Melody around edge. I added the pink ribbon in the button to hold the sentiment (hole punched at edge). Only added the second button after realizing that there was a smudge I needed to "hide" on that side .

Gina, these mice are adorable! And the melon is a perfect resting spot. Looks like their tummies are pleasantly full. The colouring on this is perfect. I love the ribbon and buttons that are perfectly matched to the papers.

How fun your card is! Those mice definitely look satisfied. Your handwritten sentiment is written so nicely! I hand write sentiments sometimes but mine either go up or downhill. Yours is so even! Great card.

Beautiful card. I love watermelons, and although they are selling right now, they are not quite ripe yet. Your card just made my mouth water, and long for that sweet, juicy melon. TFS!

What an absolutely outstanding image!! It is super cute with the little mice eating the watermelon! And the toppings on the watermelon makes it look so juicy! I love the coloring; it's top-notch!!
